Sam Pollock is Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield’s Infrastructure business and Brookfield Infrastructure Partners. In this role, he is responsible for investments, operations and the expansion of the Infrastructure business.
Since joining Brookfield in 1994, Mr. Pollock has held a number of senior positions across the organization, including leading Brookfield’s corporate investment group and its private equity business.

Arpit Agrawal is a Managing Partner and Head of India and the Middle East for Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Agrawal is responsible for all infrastructure investment and portfolio management activity in the region.
Prior to joining Brookfield’s in 2016, Mr. Agrawal was a vice president for an infrastructure asset manager.

Marcos Almeida is a Managing Partner and Head of South America for Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Almeida is responsible for all infrastructure investment and portfolio management activity in the region.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2003, Mr. Almeida worked for an international consulting firm, several accounting firms in Brazil and Switzerland, and for a large bank in Germany.
Mr. Almeida holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of São Paulo and a Bachelor’s degree from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
Brian Baker is an Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Baker works with our operating companies to set strategic direction, manage risk as well as support growth initiatives to create long-term value.
Since joining Brookfield in 2007, Mr. Baker has held a number of senior roles across the Infrastructure Group including heading investment activities in Europe and North America for over a decade. Prior to Brookfield, Mr. Baker was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for several oil and gas production companies in Western Canada. He was previously a Partner at Collins Barrow Chartered Accountants, where he focused on advisory work in the oil and gas sector.
Mr. Baker holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Chloe Berry is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Ms. Berry is the Head of the Brookfield Infrastructure Income Strategy and is also responsible for the group’s global capital markets and treasury function.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Ms. Berry worked in corporate finance and M&A at large multinational corporations and a global investment bank.
Ms. Berry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University.
Keshav Bhojania is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, he is responsible for the infrastructure structured solutions business in Europe.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. Bhojania worked in the advisory group at a leading investment bank, where he was responsible for M&A and financings across the natural resources sector, including infrastructure.
Mr. Bhojania earned a Post-Graduate Degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delhi.
Michael Botha is an Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Botha oversees operations, risk management and a variety of asset management activities for Brookfield’s open-end core infrastructure fund and its portfolio companies. Mr. Botha has held a number of senior positions across the organization, including Chief Risk Officer in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield's private infrastructure funds business. In these roles, he oversaw risk management and asset management activities for the group and its portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2001, Mr. Botha worked in the audit practice of a Big Four accounting firm.

Carlos Castro is an Operating Partner in Latin America as well as Country Head in Colombia for Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. He is responsible for operations in Colombia and asset management in Latin America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Castro held corporate finance roles in the financial and industrial sectors in Colombia, Washington, D.C. and Sao Paulo. He also worked in investment banking in Colombia and as the Chief Financial Officer of two Colombian companies.
Mr. Castro holds a Master of Science degree from the London Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá.
Carl Ching is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Ching responsible for transaction structuring in Canada and South America as well as related operational and tax oversight matters.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Ching worked in the transaction tax group for a leading accounting firm where he advised strategic and private equities on acquisitions, dispositions and international organizations.
Mr. Ching holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant.
Alexandra Cohl is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Infrastructure Group. In this role, she leads acquisition financing and capital markets activity for Brookfield’s infrastructure platform.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Ms. Cohl worked for a Canadian bank where she most recently held a director role in debt capital markets.

Fred Day is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Day leads the legal activities of the Infrastructure Group in North America and has legal oversight over Brookfield’s infrastructure credit investments and capital markets activities.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Day was an associate at a leading law firm.

Anita Dusevic Oliva is an Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, she is responsible for enhancing the organizational effectiveness and strategic capability of infrastructure portfolio companies.
Ms. Dusevic Oliva joined Brookfield in 2022 following its acquisition of Inter Pipeline Ltd. where she held a number of roles over her tenure including Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President – Corporate Services and Vice President, Legal. Previously, she was a lawyer at a Canadian law firm.
Ms. Dusevic Oliva holds Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Calgary.
Patrick Enriquez is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Enriquez is responsible for business development and transaction execution across Brookfield’s Infrastructure funds in North America.

Kim Folkard is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, she is responsible for the tax function in the U.K. and Europe, supporting M&A transactions, strategic initiatives and restructurings, and portfolio company management.

Angel Garcia-Altozano Fesser is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Garcia-Altozano is primarily responsible for leading transportation-related investment activities in Europe.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Mr. Garcia-Altozano was a senior investment professional at a leading private infrastructure equity investor.

Vice Chair, Infrastructure and Renewable Power & Transition
Harry Goldgut is Vice Chair of Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group, and provides strategic advice related to Brookfield’s open-end infrastructure fund.
Mr. Goldgut joined Brookfield in 1997 and led the expansion of Brookfield’s renewable power and utilities operations, with primary responsibility for strategic initiatives, acquisitions and senior regulatory relationships. Mr. Goldgut has also played an active role in the restructuring of the electricity industry in Ontario, Canada, as a member of several governmental committees, including the Electricity Market Design Committee, the Minister of Energy’s Advisory Committee, the Clean Energy Task Force, and the Ontario Energy Board Chair’s Advisory Roundtable.
Mr. Goldgut holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University.
Matthew Grimes is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Grimes is responsible for business development and transaction execution across Brookfield’s infrastructure funds in Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Mr. Grimes was an Associate Director with a Canadian pension plan investor and previously worked at a leading investment bank in Sydney, where he focused on the infrastructure sector.

Natalie Hadad is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and co-Head of Brookfield’s open-end core infrastructure fund. In this role, Ms. Hadad oversees the origination, execution, and asset management of the firm’s infrastructure super-core investments.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2013, Ms. Hadad was an investment professional in the private equity group of a leading investment manager.

Sophia Hanna is an Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group, responsible for information technology and cybersecurity due diligence processes across infrastructure and private equity.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Ms. Hanna held various information technology executive roles in the logistics, automotive, manufacturing, publishing, telecommunication, wholesale and retail industries.

Jack Hellmann is a Vice Chair in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. He is also Executive Chairman of Genesee & Wyoming (G&W), which was acquired by Brookfield Infrastructure and GIC in 2019.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2023, Mr. Hellmann served in various roles at G&W including Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure, G&W grew its global operations from 21 railroads to 119 railroads.
Mr. Hellmann holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School, a Master of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University. He serves on the Boards of Triton International and the Association of American Railroads.
Taka Hirayama is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Hirayama is responsible for leading business development and transaction execution in Japan.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2023, Mr. Hirayama worked for a leading private equity firm, an investment bank and two Japanese corporations where he was responsible for energy and infrastructure investments across Asia as well as the Middle East and Africa.

Keir Hunt is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Hunt is responsible for all legal aspects of infrastructure transactions in North America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. Hunt was an Assistant Vice President at a Canadian corporation, responsible for mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and public company matters as the General Counsel of two listed companies. Mr. Hunt began his career at a leading Canadian law firm, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate finance.

Matthew Hutton is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Hutton is primarily responsible for leading midstream and industrial infrastructure-related investment activities in North America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Mr. Hutton was a manager of corporate development with a major U.S. conglomerate and previously worked for a leading investment bank in New York, where he focused on the infrastructure sector.

Dave Joynt is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Joynt is primarily responsible for leading transportation-related investment activities in North America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Mr. Joynt was a senior principal at a leading Canadian pension investor on its infrastructure team across several geographies, including working as CFO of its Australian rail business. Previously, Mr. Joynt worked for private equity and advisory.

Hamish Kidd is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, he is responsible for the infrastructure structured solutions business in the Americas.

Aaron Kline is a Managing Partner and head of global tax of Brookfield Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for leading the global tax function in addition to leading tax for the infrastructure business.
Mr. Kline joined Brookfield in 2009 and previously held several tax-related positions in Brookfield’s Corporate, Private Equity and Infrastructure Groups. Prior to joining Brookfield, he worked in the tax practice of a global public accounting firm.

David Krant is a Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, he has overall responsibility for the group’s finance, tax, treasury and investor relations activities. Mr. Krant has been a longstanding member of the infrastructure finance leadership team and has been actively involved in a number of key transactions and business development initiatives for the business.
Mr. Krant joined Brookfield in 2012 and has held a number of senior roles within the organization. Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Krant was in the assurance and advisory group at one of the Big Four accounting firms.
Mr. Krant is a graduate of the School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University and he is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Rene Lubianski is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Lubianski is responsible for corporate development, capital raising, co-investments, investor relations and other strategic initiatives for Brookfield’s infrastructure funds. Previously, Mr. Lubianski oversaw product development and fundraising for Brookfield’s infrastructure, private equity and renewable power investment strategies.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2010, Mr. Lubianski worked at a global investment bank in its financial advisory group, focused on infrastructure investments.

Becky Lumlock is an Operating Partner in Brookfield's Infrastructure Group. In this role, she is responsible for working with portfolio companies to support their growth and to mitigate risk.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2022, Ms. Lumlock was a member of the group executive at Network Rail and was managing director for one of the busiest parts of the U.K. rail network. She then became group transformation director, responsible for restructuring and reorganizing the company, working closely with the government and the regulator. Previously, she worked internationally on four continents for BG Group and Shell in a wide range of senior leadership positions including Country Deputy President and COO, served on several joint venture Boards with host governments, and she ran a major liquefied natural gas import terminal. She is currently CEO of Freightliner.
Ms. Lumlock holds a combined Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and sociology from the University of York.
Roberto Marcogliese is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, he is responsible for business development and transaction execution in North America, with a focus on the data sector.
Mr. Marcogliese has held a number of roles within Brookfield, and most recently was the Operating Partner in Europe for Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2010, Mr. Marcogliese worked at CIBC Capital Partners, a Toronto-based merchant banking group.

Hadley Peer Marshall is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and co-Head of its infrastructure debt and structured solutions businesses. In this role, Ms. Peer Marshall oversees the origination, execution and asset management of the Firm's infrastructure credit and structured solutions investments.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Ms. Peer Marshall was Co-Head of the project finance and infrastructure group at Goldman Sachs, where she was responsible for originating, structuring, executing and advising on infrastructure and project financings for clients.
Ms. Peer Marshall holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Fernando Martinez-Caro is an Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group, focused on portfolio management for its South American businesses. Previously, Mr. Martinez-Caro oversaw operations in Brazil as the CEO of Quantum, an energy transmission platform fully owned by Brookfield Brazil.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2014, Mr. Martinez-Caro worked for several decades in civil construction, mining and investments in Spain, Canada, United Kingdom, United States and Brazil.
Mr. Martinez-Caro holds a Master of Business Administration degree from IESE Business School and Master of Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Civil Engineering degrees from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. Mr. Martinez-Caro sits on several Boards of Brookfield Infrastructure owned assets.
Udhay Mathialagan is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and the CEO of Global Data Centre Group. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating Brookfield’s global data center efforts on acquisitions and underwriting, hyperscale relationships, commercial agreements, procurement, and best practices for greenfield project development and operations.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Mr. Mathialagan was the chief executive officer of a global telecom portfolio management software company in Singapore. Mr. Mathialagan has held leadership positions in investment management, infrastructure and growth businesses in telecommunications and technology sectors in Asia Pacific and Europe.
Mr. Mathialagan holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, the Netherlands and is currently Chair of the Board of DCI, and Chair of the Board of Vodafone New Zealand.
Gabriele Montesi is an Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group in Europe. In this role, he oversees operations for all infrastructure assets in Europe. Mr. Montesi has previously held several investment roles at Brookfield in London.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2010, he worked for Citi’s investment banking unit in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets.
Mr. Montesi holds a combined Bachelor of Arts degree from Regent’s University London. He currently serves on a number of private portfolio company boards.
Mark Murski is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and Operating Partner for North America, with additional accountability for leading the portfolio management function globally.
Mr. Murski joined Brookfield in 2003 focusing on financings, acquisitions and divestitures. Between 2006 and 2015 he worked for Brookfield Financial, Brookfield’s global advisory practice, where he ran the Mergers & Acquisitions practice.
Mr. Murski is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business, a Chartered Professional Accountant and a CFA charterholder.
David Nazzicone is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Nazzicone is responsible for leading the global portfolio management finance function.

Ray Neill is an Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group, responsible for leading business development and transaction execution in Australia.
Mr. Neill joined Brookfield in 2010, following Brookfield’s acquisition of the Australian-listed company, Prime Infrastructure, where he worked as an investment analyst. Mr. Neill serves as a board member on several of Brookfield’s operating companies. Previously, Mr. Neill worked in the transport group of the strategy consulting firm Booz and Co.
Mr. Neill holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Mihir Nerurkar is an Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group for India. In this role, he oversees operations of all infrastructure assets in India.
Mr. Nerurkar joined Brookfield in 2019 and brings to this role over 20 years of experience across financial services, real estate and infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Brookfield, he held leadership roles with a boutique financial services firm and a leading real estate firm in India. Mr. Nerurkar began his career with the operations strategy group at Deloitte Consulting in New York.

Felipe Ortiz is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Ortiz is responsible for leading the origination and execution of European deals for Brookfield’s open-end core infrastructure fund.
Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Ortiz worked at an investment bank in New York, providing mergers and acquisitions and capital markets advisory to infrastructure funds.

Jun Park is a Managing Partner and head of Korea for Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. He also supports Brookfield’s infrastructure investment activities in North Asia. Jun also holds the role of head of Brookfield's Korea office.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. Park was a Managing Director and founding member at Hahn & Company, Korea’s largest private equity firm. He began his career at Citigroup’s investment banking division in New York.

Ronald Paz is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s infrastructure group. In this role, Mr. Paz is responsible for business development and transaction execution across Brookfield’s infrastructure funds in South America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2010, Mr. Paz worked in the private equity group of an international bank and at a middle market private equity fund.

Scott Peak is a Managing Partner and Head of North America for Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, he is responsible for regional oversight and investment strategy leadership. In addition, he is involved in the screening and evaluation of global investment initiatives. Mr. Peak previously served as Chief Investment Officer for North America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Mr. Peak spent a decade at the Macquarie Group, where he focused on the infrastructure sector. Previously, Mr. Peak worked in the mergers and acquisitions investment banking group at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in New York.

Sikander Rashid is a Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, he is responsible for business development and transaction execution in the European markets.
Since joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Rashid has executed numerous transactions and financings globally and has been instrumental in the business’s successful entry into new sectors. During this time, he has also served on multiple portfolio company boards.

Daniel Reidy is an Operating Partner in Brookfield's Infrastructure Group, responsible for working with portfolio companies to mitigate risk and support their growth both organically and through acquisitions.
Mr. Reidy joined Brookfield in 2011 as part of Brookfield Financial, the firm’s global advisory business, where he oversaw the infrastructure advisory activities. Mr. Reidy was also responsible for the pursuit, development, and management of public private partnerships on behalf of Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Reidy was a director with Bilfinger Berger Project Investments, with a focus on project finance and infrastructure development.

Jeff Rosenthal is a Vice Chair and Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. Mr. Rosenthal provides oversight of Brookfield’s utility investments as well as risk management, capital expenditure and ESG oversight as the group’s Chief Risk Officer. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of Brookfield’s Renewable Power business.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2007, Mr. Rosenthal was President and Chief Executive Officer of Oshawa Power and Utilities in Ontario.
Mr. Rosenthal has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering degree from the University of Toronto.
Michael Ryan is a Managing Director and Counsel in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Ryan is responsible for overseeing the legal function in the Asia Pacific region and the corporate administration of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners.
Mr. Ryan joined Brookfield in 2010, following Brookfield’s acquisition of the Australian listed company, Prime Infrastructure, where he served as general counsel and company secretary. Prior to this role, he was an associate at a leading law firm.
Mr. Ryan holds a Graduate Diploma in applied finance from the Securities Institute of Australia and dual bachelor’s degrees from Griffith University.
Eduardo Salgado is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and Co-Head of Brookfield’s open-end core infrastructure fund. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing investment activities, asset management and operations for the fund. Since joining Brookfield, Mr. Salgado has held a number of senior positions across the Infrastructure and Renewables Groups including Chief Investment Officer for Brookfield’s Renewables Group.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Mr. Salgado worked in the power and infrastructure practice at a major Canadian investment bank.
Mr. Salgado holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico.
Jonathon Sellar is an Operating Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and for Australia. In this role, he is responsible for the asset management function in the region.
Mr. Sellar joined Brookfield in 2010, following Brookfield’s acquisition of the Australian-listed company, Prime Infrastructure, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer since 2002. Previously, he held senior roles at InterGen Australia and at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Sellar holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the Queensland University of Technology and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia since 1996.
Paul Sim is a Managing Partner in Brookfield's Infrastructure Group and is the Regional Head for Northern Europe with responsibility for expanding Brookfield’s infrastructure business in the region. Mr. Sim also serves as Head of Legal for the Infrastructure Group. In this role, he is responsible for the legal function globally including oversight of legal and transaction execution activities.
Mr. Sim joined Brookfield in 2010, upon Brookfield’s acquisition of Prime Infrastructure. Prior to this role, he worked at a number of international law firms where he focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions in the infrastructure sector.
Mr. Sim holds Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Adelaide.
Ian Simes is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and co-Head of its infrastructure debt and structured solutions businesses. In this role, Mr. Simes oversees the origination, execution and asset management of the Firm's infrastructure credit and structured solutions investments.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Simes was a Director on the infrastructure team of the capital markets origination group at Citigroup, where he was responsible for originating, structuring, executing and advising on infrastructure financings for clients in the capital markets.
Mr. Simes holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
John Soini is an Operating Partner in Brookfield's Infrastructure Group. In this role, he is responsible for working with portfolio companies to support their growth and to mitigate risk.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2023, Mr. Soini was the chief operating officer of NorthRiver Midstream and senior vice president at Interpipeline, where he worked on the development of the Heartland Petrochemical Complex project. Previously, he held a wide range of senior leadership positions at TC Energy and Bruce Power.
Mr. Soini holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Haskayne School of Business.
John Stinebaugh is a Vice Chair of Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. Prior to this role, Mr. Stinebaugh served as Chief Executive Officer of TerraForm Power, a Brookfield portfolio company. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Brookfield’s Property Group and Chief Financial Officer and Head of North America for Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group.
Before joining Brookfield in 2005, Mr. Stinebaugh worked in the energy group at Credit Suisse Securities, with responsibility for mergers and acquisitions and leveraged financings.
Mr. Stinebaugh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University.
Thomas Tates is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Tates is responsible for leading the human resources function for the infrastructure business.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Tates held progressively senior human resources roles in Canada and the U.S. with a leading retailer of energy services.
Mr. Tates holds a Master’s degree in industrial relations and human resources from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Toronto Metropolitan University.
Stewart Upson is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and Regional Head of Asia Pacific, with responsibility for overseeing the Firm’s business activities in the region. Mr. Upson also has direct responsibility for the infrastructure group in Asia Pacific.
Mr. Upson joined Brookfield in 2010, following Brookfield’s acquisition of the Australian-listed company, Prime Infrastructure, where he held a number of roles, including General Manager Business Development and Group Treasurer. He previously served as Treasurer at Powerco, a New Zealand-based utility, and worked in the corporate finance division of Deloitte, Auckland.
Mr. Upson holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and is a CFA charterholder.
Ben Vaughan is an Operating Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. Since joining Brookfield in 2001, Mr. Vaughan held a series of executive positions within Brookfield’s Renewable Group. In addition to his role in the renewable power business, Mr. Vaughan played a key role in Brookfield’s investment activities across South America.
Mr. Vaughan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University in Canada. He currently serves on several public and private portfolio company boards.
Eric Wittleder is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Wittleder is responsible for infrastructure investment activities for Brookfield’s infrastructure debt strategy in the Americas and supports the oversight of the underwriting of global credit investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Mr. Wittleder worked for several leading investment banks, raising debt capital for energy and infrastructure projects in the U.S. and Latin America.
Mr. Wittleder holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.
Alex Yang is a Managing Partner and head of Greater China and Southeast Asia for Brookfield’s Private Equity Group. He also leads Brookfield’s Infrastructure investment in Greater China. He is responsible for the origination, execution and operation of investments in the region.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. Yang was a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone Private Equity Group based in Hong Kong, a principal at TPG Capital based in Beijing, an associate at Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Division based in New York and an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He currently serves as the Chairman and board director of Trimco Group, and previously served on the boards of Global Sources, Shya Hsin Packaging, Essel Propack and HCP Packaging.
Mr. Yang holds a Juris Doctor degree from University of Minnesota Law School, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Law degree from Peking University in China.
Alfredo Zamarriego is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and Regional Head of Southern Europe, specifically Spain, Italy and Portugal.
Mr. Zamarriego joined Brookfield in 2014 and facilitated the opening of its Madrid office, where he is currently based, helping to establish the Firm’s presence in continental Europe. He previously held a number of senior positions in investment banking and private equity within the infrastructure industry in Europe.
Mr. Zamarriego holds a law degree and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the ICADE University in Madrid.
Fernando Ziziotti is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, Mr. Ziziotti is responsible for all legal aspects of infrastructure transactions in South America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2014, Mr. Ziziotti was an associate at leading law firms in Brazil and New York, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
Mr. Ziziotti holds a law degree from Universidade de São Paulo and a Master of Laws degree from Stanford Law School. Mr. Ziziotti serves as a Board member at Nova Transportadora do Sudeste (NTS).
