Managing Partner, Renewable Power, M&A
Eduardo Salgado is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Renewable Power Group, responsible for overseeing acquisition and merger investment activities, asset management and operations across the investment portfolio. Mr. Salgado has over 15 years of experience advising on and executing mergers and acquisitions, and he led the team that successfully acquired Isagen in Colombia and over 1,200 MW of installed capacity in the USA.
Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Salgado worked in the power and infrastructure practice at Scotia Capital where he executed over $9 billion of M&A transactions and equity financings for contracted and merchant power generation, transmission and distribution.
Mr. Salgado holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and General Systems Theory from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico.
