Senior Vice President, Renewable Power, Solar
Kristina Peterson is a Senior Vice President in Brookfield’s Renewable Power Group, responsible for evaluating and executing equity and debt investments in the solar power sector globally, including working with the broader Infrastructure Group and Debt teams on solar-related investments.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Ms. Peterson held senior management roles including CFO and CEO at U.S. divisions of Suntech, EDF and Greenwood Energy, where she oversaw mergers and acquisitions, development, financing and construction of more than 1GW of solar photovoltaic projects. She was a Vice President in structured and project finance debt lending to the energy and other infrastructure sectors at ABN AMRO Bank and Citibank. She started her career in the Structured Finance group at Citicorp in New York.
Ms. Peterson holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Business Administration from Boston University. She completed additional graduate coursework at MIT’s Sloan School of Management prior to obtaining her MBA.
