Managing Partner, Renewable Power
Eduardo Salgado is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and Brookfield’s Renewable Group. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing mergers & acquisitions investment activities, asset management and operations across the investment portfolio. He is also responsible for transaction sourcing and execution for Brookfield’s open-end infrastructure fund. Mr. Salgado has over 15 years of experience advising on and executing mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Mr. Salgado worked in the power and infrastructure practice at Scotia Capital, where he executed transactions and equity financings for contracted and merchant power generation, transmission and distribution.
Mr. Salgado holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering and general systems theory from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico, and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
