Bill Powell is a Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. He has held many roles across the organization including Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Finance Fund business and, most recently, Global Treasurer of Brookfield Asset Management.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2002, Mr. Powell held various senior management positions within the real estate capital markets groups at a number of investment management firms. 

Mr. Powell holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Darden School of the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Richmond.
