Alex Elawadi is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for real estate transactions across asset classes in the U.S., with a focus on corporate and portfolio investments.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Mr. Elawadi held positions in real estate acquisitions and asset management at The Carlyle Group and began his career in real estate investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.    

Mr. Elawadi holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech.
