Alex Elawadi is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group and Head of Acquisitions for North America. In this role, he focuses on transactions across property types, capital formation, and portfolio management through several of Brookfield’s portfolio-company boards.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Mr. Elawadi held positions in investments and asset management at The Carlyle Group and Rockwood Capital and began his career in real estate investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Elawadi holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech.
