Ascenty is a leader in hyperscale data center infrastructure in Latin America. In 2019, we partnered with Digital Realty Trust (DLR) to jointly acquire the company. DLR is a leading global provider of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions. Given our long history as an owner and operator of high-quality infrastructure assets in Brazil, DLR approached us to partner in a joint venture.  

Today, Ascenty is the largest whole data center provider serving Latin America, with the majority of its operations located in Brazil. Its portfolio includes 141 MW of operating capacity across 27 data centers in operation and under construction, interconnected with a 5,000 km fiber network that connects all facilities with major telecom operators and cable landing stations.

The company has a strong client base of leading cloud providers, whose parent entities have investment-grade or equivalent credit ratings. Latin America continues to be a promising region for data infrastructure, with the rapid growth of the technology market. We believe Ascenty is well-positioned to continue to grow within Brazil and expand further into newer markets, such as Chile and Mexico
