David Bonasia is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Private Equity Group. In this role, he is responsible for operational and financial oversight of portfolio companies in the Americas. Mr. Bonasia has held various positions across the organization including investment origination and execution within the technology services sector, value creation and strategy as a member of the business operations team and investment analysis across deals in the industrial and business services sectors.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Bonasia held roles in private equity and investment banking, with a focus on M&A and complex restructurings. 

Mr. Bonasia holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree from Western University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
