Alexander Hütteroth is a Managing Director and Co-Head of DACEE in Brookfield’s Global Client Group. In this role, he leads the institutional client coverage team across Germany, Austria, and Central and Eastern Europe.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2024, Mr. Hütteroth was a director in the global coverage group at DWS, where he led the team responsible for private debt coverage across DACEE, while also covering the firm’s broader alternatives offering across equity and debt strategies. Previously, he was a vice president at BlackRock, responsible for relationships with pension funds and non-profit organizations in Germany, with a particular focus on alternative investments across equity and debt strategies. He began his career at Fidelity.

Mr. Hütteroth holds a Doctorate in Finance from the University of Finance and Administration in Prague, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Louisville, and a degree in Economics from the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
