Devdutt Marathe is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Private Equity Group. In this role, he focuses on private equity deals across industrials, financial services and industrial healthcare, helping with sourcing, underwriting, deal execution and portfolio oversight in India. Mr. Marathe also serves on the board of IndoStar, a Brookfield portfolio company.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2023, Mr. Marathe was a principal at Apax Partners, where he focused on healthcare investing in India and was responsible for sector coverage, deal origination and transaction execution.

Mr. Marathe holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, a Master of Science degree from the California Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
