Fabian Schmidt is a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer in Brookfield's Real Estate Group. In this role, he focuses on the finance function of balance sheet investments.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Schmidt worked for Duff & Phelps (now, Kroll) providing financial and accounting due diligence advisory services.

Mr. Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder.
