James Lindsay is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Global Client Group. In this role, he focuses on the firm's growth in the U.K. institutional market.

Prior to joining Oaktree in 2026, Mr. Lindsay held roles in institutional sales and client relationship management at Western Asset Management, Legal & General Investment Management, Natixis Investment Managers, Mesirow Financial and J.P. Morgan.

Mr. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Glasgow. He is also a CFA charterholder. Mr. Lindsay is a board member and treasury for the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives.
