Matthew Knight is a Managing Director for Brookfield's Private Wealth Group, leading the strategy and team responsible for developing client relationships throughout the U.K. and Ireland, Middle East and Northern European regions. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2025, Mr. Knight was a managing director within the global wealth management division at Wellington Management, where he led the firm’s private wealth distribution business in the U.K. and Ireland. Prior to his time at Wellington Management, he worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was an executive director within the EMEA wealth division. Mr. Knight began his career at Goldman Sachs International as a graduate within the European listed derivatives division. 

Mr. Knight holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Loughborough University, the Investment Management Certification (IMC), and has completed the Private Markets Impact Investing Programme at the Saïd Business School of University of Oxford.
