Managing Partner and Co-President, Infrastructure

Stewart Upson is Co-President of Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, he is responsible for regional oversight in Asia Pacific, leading investment strategy, and supporting the screening and evaluation of global investment initiatives. Mr. Upson also serves as Brookfield’s Regional Head of Asia Pacific, overseeing the Asset Manager’s business activities in the region, and as Head of Global Strategy, with responsibility for identifying, implementing and investing in new technologies across the organization. He is a member of Brookfield’s Executive Committee.

Mr. Upson joined Brookfield in 2010 following Brookfield’s acquisition of the Australian-listed company, Prime Infrastructure, where he held several senior roles. He previously served as Treasurer at a New Zealand-based utility.

Mr. Upson holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and is a CFA charterholder.
