Tara Newbery is a Managing Director in the Legal and Regulatory group for Brookfield's Private Wealth group. In this role, she is responsible for coverage of the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.

Prior to joining Brookfield in June 2023, Ms. Newbery was head of legal in EMEA for Northern Trust Asset Management. Previously she was head of legal for PGIM Investments following legal roles at Pinebridge and Legg Mason.

Ms. Newbery qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and attained the Certified Investment Fund Director qualification in 2013.
