Phil Joubert is a Managing Director and Head of APAC Insurance Solutions. In this role, Mr. Joubert focuses on developing and managing the insurance client base in APAC.

Prior to joining Oaktree in 2025, Mr. Joubert served as the head of investment consulting at AIA Group in Hong Kong, where he ran the group CIO’s strategy and solutions team. Before that he held diverse roles in consulting, insurance and investment banking.

Mr. Joubert holds a Master of Science degree from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. Mr. Joubert is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
