Peter Stone is responsible for originating, evaluating, and structuring investments and overseeing commercial operations in Brookfield Infrastructure’s container port segment. In addition, Peter manages Brookfield Infrastructure’s Government Affairs activities in California.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Peter worked in the liner shipping and marine terminal business with a focus on commercial and business development building transportation networks to serve overseas production. Previously he was the Chief Commercial Officer of Ports America which followed positions in the US and Asia with NYK Line and P&O Nedlloyd. Notable Brookfield transactions include the acquisition and automation of TraPac LLC.

Prior to shipping, Peter worked in the airline industry in operations, pricing and yield management with carriers including Virgin Atlantic, Continental, and China Airlines. Peter holds a BA and MBA from City University of New York – Baruch College.
