Robert White
Robert White is Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield’s Tactical Funds Group. In this role, he is responsible for working with Brookfield’s affiliated managers, credit investment strategies and insurance clients. Within these areas, Mr. White oversees a team focused on expanding Brookfield’s institutional relationships, fundraising and client strategy to build out these businesses. This includes a team dedicated to providing comprehensive structured credit solutions to our institutional clients.
Mr. White joined Brookfield in 2009 and previously assisted in the development of the Private Funds Group, which included direct client coverage responsibilities with many of Brookfield’s strategic clients as head of Europe and the Americas, and most recently led the client relationship management and business development teams responsible for the marketing strategy and fundraising activities of Brookfield’s private funds globally. Before Brookfield, Mr. White was a managing director at Knight Capital Partners where he co-founded the private equity group. Prior to that, Mr. White was a director at Lazard Frères and co-founder of its private fund advisory group in London. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in various investment banking positions.
Mr. White holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University.
