Mark Carney
Mark Carney
Mark Carney is the Chair of Brookfield Asset Management and Head of Transition Investing. In this role, he is focused on the development of products for investors that will combine positive social and environmental outcomes with strong risk-adjusted returns.
Mr. Carney is an economist and banker who served as the Governor of the Bank of England from 2013 to 2020, and prior to that as Governor of the Bank of Canada from 2008 until 2013. He was Chairman of the Financial Stability Board from 2011 to 2018. Prior to his governorships, Mr. Carney worked at Goldman Sachs as well as the Canadian Department of Finance.
He is a long-time and well-known advocate for sustainability, specifically with regard to the management and reduction of climate risks. He is currently the United Nations Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance and Co-Chair for the Glasgow Finance Alliance for Net Zero.
He is also Chair of the Group of Thirty and Bloomberg LP’s Board of Directors, as well as an external member of the Board of Stripe, a member of the Global Advisory Board of PIMCO, Harvard University, Rideau Hall Foundation, Bilderberg, the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the Blavatnik School at Oxford, and the Hoffman Institute for Global Business and Society at INSEAD, Cultivo, Senior counsellor of the MacroAdvisory Partners, and Advisor of the Watershed as well as President of Chatham House.
Mr. Carney holds doctorate and master’s degrees from Oxford University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard University.
Connor Teskey
Connor Teskey
Connor Teskey is President of Brookfield Asset Management. He is also the head of Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition business and Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Renewable Partners. In this role, he is responsible for investments, operations and the expansion of the Renewable Power & Transition business.
Mr. Teskey joined Brookfield in 2012 and has held a variety of investment and management roles. Prior to Brookfield, he worked in corporate debt origination at a Canadian bank.
Mr. Teskey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario.
Natalie Adomait
Natalie Adomait
Natalie Adomait is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, Ms. Adomait is responsible for sourcing, execution and asset management of the investments within Brookfield’s Global Transition Fund, with a particular focus on underwriting and execution of transition business plans.
Ms. Adomait began her career at Brookfield in 2011 focused on origination and investment execution for renewable power assets in North America and Europe.
Inés Bargueño
Inés Bargueño
Inés Bargueño is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Brookfield's Renewable Power & Transition Group in Europe. In this role, she works with our portfolio companies on expanding their growth strategies and optimizing their performance.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Ms. Bargueño held several leadership roles in organizations across the energy, technology, engineering and consulting sectors.
Ms. Bargueño holds Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Electrical Engineering degree from Université libre de Bruxelles.
Madeleine Bourdon

Madeleine Bourdon is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group, responsible for Human Resources globally. She has held several leadership positions in human resources across the group.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2004, Ms. Bourdon worked for an international management consulting firm in organizational development.
Ms. Bourdon holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Business Administration from l’Université du Québec en Outaouais.
Daniel Cheng
Daniel Cheng
Daniel Cheng is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, he is responsible for building and managing the renewable power business across Asia Pacific, as well as the Head of China for the group. Previously, Mr. Cheng was involved in Brookfield’s renewable power investment activities, primarily in North America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Cheng worked in the mergers and acquisitions investment banking division of BMO Capital Markets.
Mr. Cheng holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo. Mr. Cheng is a board member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
Brian Cook
Brian Cook
Brian Cook is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group, responsible for portfolio management. In this capacity, Mr. Cook plays leadership roles across risk, HSSE, and integration of new assets. He was previously Chief Financial Officer in Brookfield’s energy marketing group and Senior Vice President, Finance, for Brookfield Renewable Partners.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2008, Mr. Cook held senior finance and investment positions at a major Canadian mutual fund company.
Mr. Cook holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. He is also on the investment committee for the Terry Fox Foundation and The Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
Mitch Davidson

Mitch Davidson is a Managing Partner and Head of U.S. Asset Management in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing portfolio companies and leading the growth of our platform in the United States.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Mr. Davidson held several senior executive positions with energy companies, most recently serving as President and CEO of NextEra Energy Resources. Before that, he held executive positions at Duke Energy North America, Entergy-Koch LP and Entergy Power Marketing Inc.
Mr. Davidson holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston, Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwest Texas State University.

Nicolas De Narvaez is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, he is responsible for investments across Latin America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. De Narvaez worked for Goldman Sachs where he was responsible for originating and executing transactions across Latin America, and at Bank of America where he executed sponsor related transactions in the U.S.
Mr. De Narvaez holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University and a Business degree from Colegio De Estudios Superiores de Administracion (CESA).

Julian Deschâtelets is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group, responsible for the capital markets and treasury function globally. He previously held several roles in corporate and project finance.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Mr. Deschâtelets worked as a project finance manager at Export Development Canada.
Mr. Deschâtelets holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree from L’École des Hautes Études Commerciales and has been a CFA charterholder since 2002.
Luke Edwards
Luke Edwards
Luke Edwards is Managing Director and Head of Australia in the Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, Mr. Edwards is responsible for the overall growth and management of renewable power and transition investments, operations and development activities in Australia. He previously served in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group, where he focused on investment origination, analysis and execution.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. Edwards held various roles across engineering, commercial and investments sectors including a director position at Citi. He has also held roles at Goldman Sachs, in its power, utilities and infrastructure investment banking teams and has experience as a field engineer for Schlumberger in Brazil and Alaska.
Mr. Edwards holds Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Bachelor of Commerce degrees, both from the University of Sydney.
Marcus Enns

Marcus Enns is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy and execution of project and acquisition financing globally. Mr. Enns has held several roles for the group, including overseeing North American capital markets, treasury and financial planning functions.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2007, Mr. Enns worked for a large Canadian power utility.
Mr. Enns holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba and is a CFA® charterholder.
André Flores

André Flores is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group, responsible for leading business development and transaction execution for investments in Brazil.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Flores was head of the commercial department at Votorantim Energia and an associate partner at McKinsey.
Mr. Flores received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and a bachelor’s degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio de Janeiro.
Kimberly Folkard

Kim Folkard is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, she leads the group’s global tax function, including tax planning and strategy, risk management, tax authority audits and compliance.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2010, Ms. Folkard worked for a leading professional services and accounting firm.
Ms. Folkard holds a Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
Kelly Goddard

Kelly Goddard is the Chief Sustainability Officer of Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, Ms. Goddard is responsible for the global sustainability strategy across renewable power and transition operations and Brookfield’s transition funds.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Ms. Goddard worked for BP in a number of development, operations and strategy roles including most recently as senior vice president of sustainability globally.
Ms. Goddard holds a Master of Environmental Management degree with a concentration in environmental economics and policy from Duke University.
Ignacio Gomez-Acebo

Ignacio Gomez-Acebo is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, he holds key leadership responsibilities on the group’s investment team in Europe. Mr. Gomez-Acebo has also led several corporate business development initiatives for Brookfield Asset Management.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Mr. Gomez-Acebo worked for Barclays’ investment banking division.
Mr. Gomez-Acebo holds a Bachelor in Law and Business Administration degree from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.

Valerie Hannah is a Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group, responsible for leading and developing the distributed generation business.
Ms. Hannah joined Brookfield in 2011 and since then has held a number of roles. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer of TerraForm Power, and prior to that, as the Chief Financial Officer for the Renewable Power Group’s North American business.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Ms. Hannah held a senior finance role in a large Canadian public company.
Wyatt Hartley

Wyatt Hartley is a Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, Mr. Hartley directs all capital markets activities for the business, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, taxation and investor relations on a global basis. Mr. Hartley has held several senior finance positions across the organization, including Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield Infrastructure Group’s operations in the Americas and Chief Financial Officer of Acadian Timber.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2010, Mr. Hartley worked at a big-four accounting firm.
Mr. Hartley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Queen’s University and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
Murzash Manekshana

Murzash Manekshana is a Managing Director and Head of Asset Management in India for Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring value creation and driving business plans across the group’s investments in the country. Mr. Manekshana was previously associated with Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and led the roads platform in India.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. Manekshana held key leadership positions and entrepreneurial roles across industries.
Mr. Manekshana holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai and is a Chartered Accountant.
Jennifer Mazin
Jennifer Mazin
Jennifer Mazin is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group and serves as General Counsel. In this role, she has overall responsibility for transaction execution and public company matters, including corporate governance and public disclosure.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2014, Ms. Mazin was Assistant General Counsel at a large global mining company and worked at a New York-based law firm, where she focused on cross-border corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions as well as governance and disclosure requirements.
Ms. Mazin holds a law degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University.

Adrienne Moore is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, she leads the legal function within the group’s U.S. asset management team and is responsible for the legal aspects of transaction execution.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Ms. Moore was an associate at a leading Canadian law firm.
Ms. Moore holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University.

Lluís Noguera is a Managing Partner and Global Head of Development in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing procurement, commercial and key account management, and supporting development growth, across Brookfield's renewable portfolio companies globally.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2023, Mr. Noguera was CEO at X-ELIO, a global leader in renewable energy development and a Brookfield-owned company since 2019, and held several senior executive positions in the energy and infrastructure division at Global Power Generation, Gas Natural Fenosa (currently Naturgy) and JPMorgan.
Mr. Noguera holds a Master’s degree from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya and a Joint Honours Degree from Imperial College London.
Tom O’Brien

Tom O’Brien is a Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group, responsible for leading and developing the European business.
Mr. O'Brien joined Brookfield in 2014, following the acquisition of Bord Gaís Energy’s Irish renewable power business and has since held a number of roles across the organization, most recently acting as Chief Financial Officer for the European renewable power business. Previously, Mr. O’Brien held senior commercial and financial roles across several organizations.
Mr. O’Brien is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Paz-Ares worked at Citibank as an investment banking analyst.

Jennifer Ritchie is a Managing Director and CFO of U.S. Asset Management in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, she is responsible for financial oversight of our U.S. portfolio companies.
Ms. Ritchie joined Brookfield in 2013 and most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. distributed generation business. She previously held various finance positions in our Private Equity and Corporate Groups. Prior to Brookfield, Ms. Ritchie worked in financial advisory and transaction services at Deloitte and was an associate at PwC.
Ms. Ritchie holds Bachelor of Science and Honours Bachelor of Commerce degrees from Queen’s University.

Andrea Rocheleau is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group where she leads the legal execution of global investment opportunities. Ms. Rocheleau has held various legal roles at Brookfield, including most recently as general counsel of TerraForm Power.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2003, Ms. Rocheleau was an associate at the law firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London.

Nawal Saini

Nawal Saini is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, he leads the group’s business in South Asia and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Mr. Saini focused on renewables for infrastructure investment teams at CDPQ and JP Morgan. He also worked at Jacob Ballas, a New York Life-anchored private equity fund in India, and as a banker with ABN Amro Bank and SBI Capital Markets.
Mr. Saini holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and a Bachelor of Science degree from Delhi University.

Dina Storch is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, she is responsible for leading the sourcing and execution of investment opportunities in Brazil.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Ms. Storch worked for a large international bank and a renewable energy and water infrastructure company.
Ms. Storch holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).

Jehangir Vevaina is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition Group, responsible for business development and transaction execution for investments globally. Mr. Vevaina has held several roles within the group, most recently overseeing commercial, development and regulatory functions of U.S. operations.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Vevaina worked in the power and energy infrastructure group of a large financial institution.
Mr. Vevaina earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University.
Eric Weng

Eric Weng is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Renewable Power & Transition Group. In this role, he is responsible for origination and execution of renewable power and transition investments in North America.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2022, Mr. Weng worked at Macquarie Capital, where he focused on the power, utilities and infrastructure sectors, and began his career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank.
Mr. Weng holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
