Brian Kingston is Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield's Real Estate business. In this role, he is responsible for investments, operations and the expansion of the Real Estate business. Prior to his current role, Mr. Kingston led Brookfield’s Australian business activities, holding the positions of CEO of Brookfield Office Properties Australia, CEO of Prime Infrastructure and CFO of Multiplex.

Mr. Kingston joined Brookfield in 2001. Under his leadership, Brookfield has conducted a wide range of mergers & acquisitions activities, including investments in Forest City Realty Trust, General Growth Properties and Canary Wharf.

Mr. Kingston holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University.

Lowell Baron is President and Chief Investment Officer of Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for Brookfield’s global real estate investment and asset management activities. Since joining Brookfield in 2005, he has held several senior roles across the organization, including overseeing the establishment of Brookfield’s multifamily and hospitality operating platforms, and its growth into alternative real estate sectors.
 
Prior to 2005, Mr. Baron worked at Deutsche Bank where he focused on real estate private equity and investment banking.
 
Mr. Baron holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Yeshiva University.

Ben Annable is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for the negotiation and legal aspects of the real estate group's European mergers and acquisitions activities, including deal structuring and execution. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Mr. Annable was a partner at a leading U.K. law firm, where he focused on M&A and joint ventures. 

Mr. Annable holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Durham University.

Leila Araiche is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for human resources globally. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Ms. Araiche was a Director of HR strategy and operations for Ernst & Young’s transaction practice and a client advisor in its people advisors services, M&A and assurance practices. 

Ms. Araiche holds a Diploma in Accounting from McGill University, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA charterholder.

Elad Argaman is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Real Estate Group. In this role, he focuses on real estate investments in Brazil, as well as other initiatives in Latin America across sectors, including office, logistics and housing.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2009, Mr. Argaman worked for Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Argaman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California.

Andrea Balkan is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for the overall management of Brookfield’s real estate finance funds. Ms. Balkan has held several senior management positions across the organization. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2002, she was a Director at Merrill Lynch in New York in the investment banking and debt capital markets groups, where she was responsible for conduit and large loan origination business, and before that, a Managing Director at Chase Manhattan Bank. 

Ms. Balkan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University and completed Chemical Bank’s credit training program.

Devin Barnwell is a Managing Partner and Global Head of Portfolio Management for Brookfield Properties and co-leader of the logistics sector.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2019, Ms. Barnwell worked in the real estate investing group at Morgan Stanley, where she was an asset manager in the real estate investing practice overseeing the Southeast and Texas.

Ms. Barnwell holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Science degrees from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. In 2019 she was recognized by Globe Street as the Investment Professional of the Year in the Inaugural Women of Influence awards and is an active member of various real estate organizations including NAIOP, ULI and Women Lead at Georgia State University.

Ted Berklayd is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for the active management, growth and strategic direction for Brookfield's European real estate investments.

Mr. Berklayd joined Brookfield in 2011, as part of the corporate finance group, before heading the European finance team, and later the portfolio management team. Prior to Brookfield, Mr. Berklayd was a senior associate for Duff & Phelps’ transaction advisory services group in New York.

Mr. Berklayd holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant (license expired).

Sara Beugelmans is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for overseeing the tax function for Brookfield’s U.S. real estate funds and balance sheet assets. Previously, she managed tax structuring and compliance for Brookfield’s U.S. office portfolio.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2009, Ms. Beugelmans worked at Andersen Tax in the private equity and international tax groups. 

Ms. Beugelmans holds a Juris Doctor with a Tax Concentration degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degrees from Arizona State University. Ms. Beugelmans is a member of the California State Bar. 

Nicolas Britten-Jones is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, with a focus on transactional and corporate activities in Australia.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Britten-Jones held various roles at global law firms in London and Melbourne with a focus on banking and finance transactions.   

Mr. Britten-Jones holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Flinders University and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment degree from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Dani Brody is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she is responsible for various legal and operational matters, including oversight of key governance frameworks and global enterprise risk management.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2014, Ms. Brody worked at the law firm Allen & Overy LLP where she focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Brody holds a Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University Law School as well as Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Lehigh University.

Ben Brown is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, and Head of the Americas region. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all real estate activities in the region, including investments and portfolio management. He is also sector head for office globally. Ben has held various roles at the Firm, including head of the U.S. office portfolio and he has lead acquisitions and dispositions for the office property business in London and New York.
 
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2010, Mr. Brown worked at the New Boston Fund, Sovereign Bank and Thor Equities.
 
Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northeastern University and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Executive Committee and Board of Governors.

Mark Brown is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group and serves as the Portfolio Manager for Brookfield Premier Real Estate Partners, Brookfield’s open-end U.S. core-plus fund. Previously, he was responsible for global business and fund development, and managing the capital structure and financing strategies for Brookfield Properties’ U.S. office division.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2000, Mr. Brown worked at Salomon Smith Barney and Citicorp Real Estate, Inc. 

Mr. Brown holds a Master of Business Administration degree from York University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University. He is the Principal Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board for Brookfield DTLA Fund Office Trust Investor Inc.

Andrew Burych is a Managing Partner and Head of East Asia for Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for investment and portfolio management in the region, including Greater China, South Korea and Japan. He has held several positions across the organization including roles with the North American and European real estate teams.

Prior to joining Brookfield 2010, Mr. Burych worked at M3 Capital Partners in the U.K.

Mr. Burych holds a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto.

Gena Cangeloso is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she focuses on investor relations strategy and fundraising support for real estate private funds globally. She also oversees the group’s sustainability program.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Ms. Cangeloso held multiple client relations roles at KKR.

Ms. Cangeloso holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

David Cohen is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for the Alternative Asset sector.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2010, Mr. Cohen was a Portfolio Analyst for a U.S. real estate securities fund. He also worked as a sell-side security analyst and as a management consultant.  

Mr. Cohen holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the New York University Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Zachary Cohn is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he leads capital markets activities throughout the U.S. Previously, he held various roles within the Real Estate Group, including sourcing, underwriting, structuring and execution of debt investments.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, he worked at Citi, where he was responsible for the underwriting, origination and structuring of commercial real estate debt investments.

Mr. Cohn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California.

Bryan Davis is a Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer in Brookfield's Real Estate Group. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield Property Partners, the Firm’s former flagship public real estate vehicle, Brookfield’s global office property company, and Trilon Financial Corp., Brookfield's financial services subsidiary.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 1999, he worked in restructuring and advisory services at Deloitte.

Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Marcus Day is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing, execution and asset management of real estate secondary investments and special situations globally.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Mr. Day was head of acquisitions Americas for Partners Group. Mr. Day previously held senior investment roles at a U.S. real estate investment manager and a global investment bank.

Mr. Day holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of New South Wales.

Alex Elawadi is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he focuses on real estate transactions across asset classes in the U.S., with a focus on corporate and portfolio investments.
 
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Mr. Elawadi held positions in real estate acquisitions and asset management at The Carlyle Group, and began his career in real estate investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
  
Mr. Elawadi holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech.

Jad Ellawn is a Managing Partner, Regional Head of the Middle East, where he is responsible for the Firm’s activities in the region. Mr. Ellawn is responsible for bringing high-conviction investments to the investment committee for the Middle East Partners strategy. Mr. Ellawn has been investing in private equity in the region since 2010. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Mr. Ellawn held senior roles in the private equity division of a leading international investment bank. Before that, Mr. Ellawn held various roles within a large investment bank in New York and London. 

Mr. Ellawn holds a Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.

Talora Farovitch is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she is responsible for the Canadian tax implications of global real estate transactions, structures, and strategic and legislative initiatives.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2014, Ms. Farovitch was a senior manager in the international tax practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. Farovitch holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Taxation from the University of Waterloo.

Nailah Flake is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Credit Group. In this role, she is responsible for the origination, underwriting and asset management of the group’s real estate debt strategies.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Ms. Flake was a Managing Director and head of originations for the commercial real estate lending group at Morgan Stanley.

Ms. Flake holds a bachelor’s degree from Spelman College.

Adrian Foley is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, as well as President & Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Properties’ development group. He is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the Land & Housing and Development business lines in North America. 

Mr. Foley has held several roles across the organization since joining Brookfield Homes in 1996. He has served on the executive team for Brookfield Residential, Brookfield’s flagship residential property company, since 2011. 

Mr. Foley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Greenwich.

Brett Fox is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, focusing on the execution of the group’s legal, governance and regulatory strategies. He has held several senior roles across the organization focused on legal, corporate and administrative matters.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2002, Mr. Fox was an Associate at the law firm Cahill Gordon & Reindel.  

Mr. Fox earned a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University.

Michael Fuller is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for its European Core-Plus Fund. In his previous role, he conducted deal sourcing and business development activities in Germany, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Nordics.
  
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2014, Mr. Fuller served as a Principal at Apollo Global Management’s real estate and non-performing loan business in London. He was also an associate at Citi Property Investors covering a wide range of European real estate transactions and worked for BFD Finance Management in Munich, Germany.

Mr. Fuller received a Master of Business Administration degree from European Business School in Germany.

Alison Giampa is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she is responsible for portfolio and transaction management globally for the real estate secondaries business. Previously, she held roles within the capital markets team and the real estate debt fund.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2008, Ms. Giampa worked at Morgan Stanley where she was responsible for the structuring, underwriting and legal coordination of its warehouse lending program.

Ms. Giampa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University.

Sam Gleeson is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he leads the U.S. team responsible for sourcing and executing investments in the hospitality sector.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Mr. Gleeson was a principal on the real estate acquisitions team at Blackstone. 

Mr. Gleeson holds a Master of Finance degree from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.

Murray Goldfarb is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for the legal and negotiation aspects of the group’s global mergers and acquisitions activities.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Goldfarb was a partner at the law firm of Fried Frank, where he represented private equity funds and public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and joint ventures.  

Mr. Goldfarb holds Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Taxation degrees from the New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University.

Mike Greene is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for residential investments in the U.S. West.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2019, Mr. Greene held various roles at institutional real estate firms focusing on the acquisition, disposition and development of residential and mixed-use properties throughout the U.S., most recently at Berkshire Residential Investments.

Mr. Greene holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California.

Ankur Gupta is Head of Asia Pacific and Middle East for Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all real estate activities in the region, including investments, portfolio management and new fund formation. He also has direct oversight of the South Asia sub-region.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Gupta worked for a leading real estate development firm.

Mr. Gupta holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

John Hinkle is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for multifamily investment activity throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the U.S.   

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Mr. Hinkle held senior roles with large institutional real estate firms, focusing on the acquisition, disposition and development of residential and mixed-use investment properties throughout the U.S.      

Mr. Hinkle holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University.

Terry Hoyt is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for the origination, underwriting and asset management of Brookfield’s real estate finance funds. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2003, she worked at Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan, with a focus in real estate finance and capital markets and was responsible for the closing and securitization of all large loan transactions. 

Ms. Hoyt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Monmouth University.

Brian Hurowitz is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for the group’s tax operations globally, focusing on tax compliance, cash management, tax reporting, internal reorganizations and special projects. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Hurowitz was the head of tax at a global media company. He also spent a decade at EY, in their financial services office where he was assisted his clients with mergers & acquisitions, restructurings and tax provisions. 

Mr. Hurowitz holds a Master in Tax from New York University School of Law, a Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.

Brad Hyler is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group and Head of Real Estate in Europe. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all real estate activities in the region, including investments, portfolio management and new fund formation. Mr. Hyler has been instrumental in the creation and expansion of Brookfield’s logistics and student housing operating platforms. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Mr. Hyler held various positions at O’Connor Capital Partners and Jones Lang Lasalle. 
  
Mr. Hyler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Hyler serves as a Director on several of Brookfield’s real estate portfolio company boards in Europe.

Ruban Kaneshamoorthy is a Managing Director, Head of Brookfield Property Group in Australia and Co-Head of Australia for Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, Mr. Kaneshamoorthy is responsible for investment and portfolio activity in the country, as well as fundraising and key client relationships across Australia. Previously, Mr. Kaneshamoorthy was the Head of Investments for the Real Estate Group in Australia, leading the team in sourcing, underwriting and executing real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Mr. Kaneshamoorthy held a number of senior roles in real estate private equity and investment banking, including at Goldman Sachs, Macquarie Bank and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds. Mr. Kaneshamoorthy has experience on transactions across Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Singapore and Japan.

Mr. Kaneshamoorthy holds Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of New South Wales.

Swarup Katuri is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for business development and investment activities in the multifamily sector, and portfolio management of Brookfield’s investment in Forest City.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Katuri worked at Associated Estates Realty Corp (AEC), where he was a member of the senior management team that led the sale of AEC to Brookfield.  

Mr. Katuri holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he graduated as a Fuqua Scholar, and Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from Case Western Reserve University.

Vincent Kerboull is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for originating and executing investments in France and Benelux.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Mr. Kerboull worked for Blackstone in its European real estate group and at Lazard Freres & Co. in Paris.

Mr. Kerboull holds a Master of Finance degree from ESCP Europe and a Master of Civil Engineering degree from ESTP Paris. 

Ashank Kothari is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for new investments, strategy and asset management initiatives across various real estate asset classes in India.

Mr. Kothari joined Brookfield in 2017 and has led a wide range of investments across strategies at the platform, portfolio and property level. Prior to Brookfield, Mr. Kothari worked for a global private equity firm in New York.

Mr. Kothari holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce.

Jonathan Kramer is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for the structuring, negotiation and execution of mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions. 

Mr. Kramer joined Brookfield in 2011 as a member of the commercial office real estate investments legal team. 

Mr. Kramer holds a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University.

Kristina Lam is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she is responsible for financial planning and analysis of Brookfield’s real estate private funds.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Ms. Lam worked for Blackstone, where she focused on real estate valuations, performance and investor reporting. Ms. Lam also held positions at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Lehman Brothers.

Ms. Lam holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Richmond and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Amy Lancaster is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Real Estate Group. In this role, she leads portfolio management and capital markets for the Brookfield’s North American hotel investments.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Ms. Lancaster worked in the hospitality finance group at Wells Fargo Bank originating hospitality loans to leading real estate investment firms across the U.S.  Ms. Lancaster spent most of her career in Blackstone’s real estate asset management group, where she managed hotel investments ranging from individual full-service hotels to portfolio companies comprising 500+ hotels.

Ms. Lancaster holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University.

Melissa Lang is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she is responsible for global oversight of the legal aspects of the group’s funds operations, including the execution of investment structuring, fund-level credit facilities, derivative products and other investor matters.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Ms. Lang worked in the real estate group of a large American international law firm focusing on private fund formation. Previously, she was an environmental engineer for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. 

Ms. Lang holds a Juris Doctor degree from the New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

John Lee is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Credit Group. In this role, he is responsible for the underwriting and asset management activities of Brookfield’s real estate debt strategies.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2008, Mr. Lee held positions in the commercial real estate group at Deutsche Bank and Countrywide with a focus in credit and portfolio management, underwriting, and mezzanine lending.

Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University.

Cristiano Machado is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for finance and operations of Brookfield’s real estate private funds. 

Mr. Machado joined Brookfield in 1995 and has held several senior positions, including Chief Financial Officer for Brookfield-affiliated companies in the retail, hotel and development sectors. He also has been involved in a wide range of investment, financing and capital market activities. 

Mr. Machado received Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Machado is a board member of the NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards Board.

Kevin McCrain is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for the retail sector globally. 

Mr. McCrain joined Brookfield in 2010 and has been located in both the New York and London offices. Prior to taking over global portfolio management responsibility for the retail sector, he had been involved in several significant acquisitions and dispositions, including Center Parcs, Gazeley, IDI, Student Roost and Seoul IFC. He has also been on the board of several Brookfield portfolio companies, including Center Parcs, IFC Seoul and Student Roost.  

Mr. McCrain holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor’s degree from Sacred Heart University. He sits on the board of directors of various Brookfield retail portfolio companies.

Rose Meller is Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she is responsible for executing various strategic transactions in Europe, with a focus on acquisitions in the logistics, life sciences and multifamily sectors. She also leads the group’s legal and regulatory team in Europe.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Ms. Meller worked in the real estate group of a global law firm.

Ms. Meller holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, London and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oxford.

Justin Monge is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Credit Group. In this role, he is responsible for investor relations, fundraising and finance activities for the group’s real estate debt strategies.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2003, he was a director at Deutsche Bank where he was a member of the management team for realty mezzanine investment funds and served in various capacities within its real estate investment banking, real estate private equity and asset management operations groups.

Mr. Monge holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and an Artium Baccalaureus from Harvard College.

Fabian Neuenschwander is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing, execution and asset management of real estate secondary investments and special situations globally.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Mr. Neuenschwander was co-head of real estate secondaries Europe, co-head real estate Americas and global head of real estate deal development at Partners Group.  

Mr. Neuenschwander holds Master of Accounting and Finance and Bachelor of Business Administration and Management degrees in from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland.

Alberto Nin Garaizabal is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing and executing investments across Southern Europe.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Mr. Nin had worked at H.I.G. Capital as part of its distressed and real estate investment team in Madrid. Previously he worked for UBS Investment Bank, where he focused on M&A, equity and debt transactions across several sectors, asset classes and jurisdictions.

Mr. Nin holds a business degree from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and has been a professor at the Instituto de Empresa Business School since 2016.

Alan Norris is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, as well as Executive Chair of Brookfield Properties’ development group in North America.

Mr. Norris joined Brookfield when Carma Developers merged with Brookfield Homes to create Brookfield Residential, its North American residential property company in 2011. Mr. Norris joined Carma in 1983 and became its Chief Executive Officer in 1994, a role he retired from at the end of 2021.

Mr. Norris holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics and chartered accountant designations in Scotland and Canada.

Lauren Okada Young is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she focuses on investments and portfolio management in the hospitality sector across Europe.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Ms. Okada Young was an analyst in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s real estate, gaming and lodging investment banking group, where she concentrated on M&A and corporate finance.

Ms. Okada Young holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University.

Roberto Perroni is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group and Head of Brazil, with responsibility for overseeing the Firm’s business activities in the region. Mr. Perroni also has direct responsibility for the real estate investment and portfolio management initiatives in Brazil.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Perroni was the CEO of Cyrela Commercial Properties, country head of JER Partners, CEO of Camargo Correa Desenvolvimento Imobiliário (CCDI) and business director at Birmann.

Mr. Perroni holds a Master of Engineering degree from Politenico di Milano and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado. Mr. Perroni is a professor in the Real Estate MBA program at Institute of International Education (IIE), in partnership with the Université Paris Nanterre.

Dana Petitto is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. She currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Portfolio Manager of Brookfield REIT. Ms. Petitto has held a number of roles across the organization, most recently as the Chief Financial Officer for Brookfield REIT. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2005, Ms. Petitto was a manager in the corporate finance department of Bristol-Myers Squibb and in the audit group at KPMG.

Ms. Petitto holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.

Bill Powell is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Credit Group. He currently leads the firm’s real estate debt team. Since joining Brookfield in 2002, Mr. Powell has held many roles across the organization including Partner in Brookfield’s initial Real Estate Finance business, and Chief Operating Officer of the Brookfield Property Group.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2002, Mr. Powell held various senior management positions within the real estate capital markets groups at a number of investment management firms.

Mr. Powell holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Darden School of the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Richmond.

Richard Powers is a Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Europe in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for expanding the pan-European real estate business and overseeing its operations.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2022, Mr. Powers was managing partner at O-Zone Partners, a managing member at Grand Street Investments and a partner in Goldman Sachs’ merchant banking division, where he was co-head of European and U.S. real estate. He also served as head of international real estate at GE Capital.

Mr. Powers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University where later he taught a seminar for many years. He serves as a board member of the Wyeth Foundation for American Art and has served on the governing bodies of a number of organizations, including the Church Commissioners for England and the German Marshall Fund of the United States.

Alexis Prevot is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing, execution and asset management of real estate secondary investments and special situations in Europe.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. Prevot was Chief Investment Officer of Immobel SA, a European-listed real estate developer. He previously served as Senior Portfolio Manager at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he focused on Western Europe real estate investment strategy across all asset classes.

Mr. Prevot holds a Master of Business Administration degree from London Business School and a Diplome d’Ingénieur from Ecole des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris.

Christopher Reilly is a Managing Partner and the Head of Brookfield’s Real Estate Solutions Group. Prior to his current role, Mr. Reilly co-led Brookfield’s real estate finance business activities where he was responsible for the origination, underwriting, and asset management of transactions. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, he was a Managing Director at Natixis Real Estate Capital Markets, ran the Large Loan Group at UBS and was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, focused on the origination and distribution of commercial real estate loans. He was also a Credit Analyst at Fitch Ratings.

Mr. Reilly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Piers Roberts is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for leading the Real Estate Group’s tax activities in Europe.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2015, Mr. Roberts was the head of tax at Gazeley and a vice president at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, with a background in tax practice.

Mr. Roberts holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oxford University. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser.

Fabian Schmidt is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Real Estate Group. In this role, he leads the corporate finance team focusing on the financial analysis and reporting related to public company real estate matters.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2012, Mr. Schmidt worked for Duff & Phelps providing financial and accounting due diligence advisory services.

Mr. Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University Questrom School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder.

Julian Seek is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he leads investment activities in the multifamily sector across North America.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Mr. Seek was an associate at the real estate lending platform Loancore Capital and an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Mr. Seek holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University.

Andy Smith is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he leads North American investments for logistics, playing a key role in the growth of the sector globally including its expansion into new markets. He previously worked for Brookfield's Private Equity Group, focusing on the Special Investments strategy.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Mr. Smith worked in the M&A group at a global real estate investment bank.

Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas.

Bryan Smith is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for accounting, reporting and operations of Brookfield’s real estate private funds.   

Prior to joining Brookfield in March 2018, Mr. Smith was the CFO of U.S. real estate at The Carlyle Group. Mr. Smith also held positions at Ernst & Young’s assurance practice, FINRA and CapitalSource. 

Mr. Smith holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees from Virginia Tech.

Michael Speer is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for leading the office investment team in the western United States. He has been involved in many areas of the business including investments, dispositions, and asset management.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2002, Mr. Speer worked at Cadillac Fairview as part of the commercial real estate investment group. 

Mr. Speer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Bishop’s University and is a CFA charterholder.

Rohit Srivastava is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for underwriting, structuring and asset management of real estate transactions. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Mr. Srivastava held a variety of roles in Credit Suisse’s commercial real estate group including asset management, origination, underwriting, structuring and real estate capital markets across various regions. He began his career in real estate finance at Gramercy Capital Corp working as an underwriter. 

Mr. Srivastava received a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Manipal Institute of Technology. 

David Stalter is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for leading the tax team globally. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2009, Mr. Stalter was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he specialized in strategic and private equity mergers and acquisitions transactions. 

Mr. Stalter holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Science degrees from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of the Holy Cross. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Jan Sucharda is a Managing Partner and the Global Head of Office in Brookfield Asset Management’s Real Estate Group. He has held several leadership roles across the organization including Global President and Chief Operating Officer, Office Division, Brookfield Properties, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Canada Office Properties.  

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2005, Mr. Sucharda worked at O&Y Properties and O&Y REIT, a major financial institution and a Toronto-based construction management company. 

Mr. Sucharda holds a Master of Business Administration degree from York University and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering) degree from Queen’s University.

Waldo Szczupak is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he focuses on investments in the student housing, manufactured housing, single-family rental and build-to-rent sectors. Mr. Szczupak previously worked in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Mr. Szczupak worked in the infrastructure investment banking business of a global financial institution.

Mr. Szczupak holds a Master of Finance degree from INSEAD and Bachelor of Science degree from MIT.

David Todd is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Maymont Homes, Brookfield’s single-family rental business. In this role, he is responsible for equity and debt investments, portfolio management, and operations. Before his current position, Mr. Todd focused on investment opportunities for the real estate M&A team. 

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Mr. Todd held real estate acquisition, development and asset management roles after positions as a management consultant and computer programmer. 

Mr. Todd holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech.

Ananya Tripathi is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she focuses on driving business plans and operations across the real estate portfolio in India.
 
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2024, Ms. Tripathi held various leadership roles, including CEO of WhiteHat Jr. and director at KKR Capstone India, where she assisted portfolio companies with strategy and operations.
 
Ms. Tripathi holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.

Bradley Weismiller is a Managing Partner at Brookfield and Head of Capital Markets for Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy and execution of asset-level and corporate financings across Brookfield’s global real estate strategies. 

Mr. Weismiller joined Brookfield in 2004. Prior to his current role, Mr. Weismiller was Chief Financial Officer for Brookfield Asset Management in Europe and responsible for strategy and execution of all European financings. Additionally, Mr. Weismiller helped oversee Brookfield’s foreign exchange and interest rate risk management, including active management of hedging strategies. 

Mr. Weismiller holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary in Virginia.

Dominic Williamson is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for investments throughout the U.K. and Ireland, as well as the ongoing portfolio company management of businesses such as ARC and Brookfield’s U.K. Science and Innovation business.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, Mr. Williamson was an investment manager at Gingko Tree Investment, a wholly owned subsidiary of the China State Administration of Foreign Exchange, responsible for acquisition and asset management of real estate throughout Europe. Mr. Williamson is a qualified lawyer and former investment banker, most recently at Morgan Stanley in their European Real Estate Investment Banking team.

Mr. Williamson holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from Nottingham Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Nottingham University.

Yiwen Yang is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic management of property portfolios, as well as ongoing acquisitions, dispositions and the management of real estate within the group.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Ms. Yang held various roles with CapitaLand, Tesco Property and AMP Capital where she gained experience in research, investment analysis, leasing, operation and asset management.

Ms. Yang holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney.

Lauren Young is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she is responsible for retail portfolio management in the U.S. including strategy and capital investments. She also serves as a director on several of Brookfield’s retail portfolio company boards.

Ms. Young joined Brookfield in 2007 and has held a number of roles across the investing and operating sides of the global real estate business. Prior to joining Brookfield, she worked in real estate investment banking at Credit Suisse.

Ms. Young holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University.

Shai Zelering is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, responsible for portfolio management activities for all hospitality properties in the U.S.  

Prior to joining Brookfield Properties in 2014, Mr. Zelering worked for Thayer Lodging Group and Blackstone’s hotel operating platform, LXR Luxury Resorts and Hotels. 

Mr. Zelering holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Mr. Zelering serves on the Board of Directors for Center Parcs in the U.K.
